Just re-reading some things from past experiences this morning and was encouraged again by this verse...
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Through my years of following Jesus, these two words have become some of my favorite ... and I whisper them to myself often... "But God..."
When I feel like I have messed up... feel like I have failed... feel like I have come up short... "But God..."
